Alocasia Odora ‘Elephant Ear plant’

    The Alocasia Odora is one of the newer varieties of the Alocasia. It is a beautiful green houseplant that can grow incredibly large leaves. The Alocasia is also called Elephant’s Ear because of the shape of its leaves. The leaves remain strongly erect, the tips of the leaves pointing upward. What makes the Alocasia Odora especially special is that it can bloom during hot days and nights. And these flowers have a wonderful fragrance, which is especially strong at night.

    The Alocasia Odora is a relatively easy plant to care for. The plant prefers a spot with a lot of sun or semi shade. Furthermore, it likes a wet and rich soil, so water regularly. Be sure to protect the leaves from wind, the Alocasia does not like that. Eventually, the Alocasia Odora can grow up to 250 cm tall.

    Watch out with pets, because the Alocasia is poisonous.

    Upon delivery, the plant has a height of 55 to 75cm.
