The Latin name of the Chinese lantern plant is Ceropegia Woodii. However, its nickname is ‘String of Hearts’ which you’ll understand as soon as you see the plants. The Ceropegia Woodii is extremely easy to care for. He belongs to the succulent family. This means that it has special roots to store water. As a result, you hardly need to water it. In spring and summer you can give it a little splash every week, in winter a splash once every two or three weeks is enough. Do not water it until the soil has dried out completely. The location of the Chinese lantern plant is not complicated, it is happiest in a place with lots of daylight. However, Ceropegia woodii also survives well in the dark.
